The U.S. Department of Energy, Idaho Operations Office (DOE-ID) Geothermal Program is soliciting industry interest and capabilities for a geothermal heat pump (GHP) technology transfer project(s) that will assist energy service companies (ESCOs) and the utility industry in developing and implementing a successful residential and/or commercial geothermal heat pump program to increase the use of the geothermal heat pumps nationwide. The Offerors shall identify ESCOs and utilities that have started or have a strong interest in starting a GHP program. Recommend to the DOE-ID two to four ESCOs and/or utilities to receive GHP technology transfer assistance. This announcement is not a Request for Quotations (RFQ). The written quotations will be available March 30, 1998.
