R -- ENGINEERING AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICES SOL N00174-98-R-0034 DUE 043098 POC Patricia Downey, 301-743-6666 Indian Head Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (IHD/NSWC) requires engineering and technical services to the U.S. Navy, other DOD, and foreign departments and agencies for the purpose of evaluating the effectiveness of communications transmissions, primarily in the very low frequency/low frequency range, and other frequency ranges as required. The contractor shall provide engineering, development, test, training, validation, operations and maintenance support, and program management support services. IHD/NSWC intends to negotiate a contract to support the ongoing very low frequency/low frequency evaluations of communications on surface and subsurface programs on a sole source basis with Longwave Incorporated, 1209 Overdowns Drive, Plano, Texas. This solicitation will result in a Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity type contract for one base year and two one year option periods. See Numbered Note 22. (0071)
