58 -- ARRAY UPGRADE TO WIDEBAND INFRARED SCREEN PROJECTION SOL F08651-98-Q1116 DUE 032498 POC Contact Julie Shaddock, Contract Specialist, (850)882-8280, Lonnie Oswalt, Contracting Officer The Air Force Development Test Center (AFDTC), Eglin AFB, FL, 46TH Test Wing, is contemplating award of a sole source, firm-fixed priced contract to Honeywell Technology Center, 12001 State Highway 55, Plymouth, MN. The Array System is a commercial off-the-shelf purchase using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Commercial Acquisition. Firms responding to this synopsis will be evaluated on the ability to provide an equal based on the following criteria. The Guided Weapons Evaluation Facility (GWEF) requires an Array upgrade to the existing Honeywell Wideband Infrared Screen Projection (WISP) System. This system upgrade shall include Kyocera packages, paddleboards, and packaged 512 x 512 infrared thermal emitter arrays for existing WISP projector subassemblies. The contractor shall mount arrays, including the replacement arrays and additional Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) arrays in Kyocera packages, and attach paddleboards to the array package. The packaged array and GFE, will be attached to the subassembly to verify operation. Requested delivery of Array upgrade within 90 days after receipt of order (ARO).
