Scope of work consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the replacement of one set (2 doors) of hangar doors and associated structural, mechanical, and electrical systems in building number 1070, A-10 Hangar. Project is located at Martin State Airport, 2701 Eastern Boulevard, Baltimore, Maryland 21220-2899. Bidders are required to submit "references" attesting to a minimum of five (5) years experience performing similar projects. In addition, bidders shall submit "certification" as an approved hangar door installer for the contractor's proposed hangar door manufacturer. A bid will not be considered without the "references" and "certification" statements. The performance start date is on/around June 04, 1998. Performance period is 180 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1542. The applicable small business size standard including affiliates is no more then $17 million average annual revenue for the previous three years. This solicitation is advertised as an unrestricted procurement. One complete bid package, to include one full set of drawings and specifications will be furnished upon request and non-refundable payment of $15.00. Make check payable to the "Maryland Air National Guard". A bid packet will not be furnished to subcontractors or suppliers.
