The project consists of maintenance dredging along the Waterway of the Coast of Virginia (WCV) at North Channel to a depth of 6 feet MLLW (NOS) with one foot of allowable overdepth (70,800 cubic yards); Sloop Channel to a depth of 6 feet MLLW (NOS) with one foot of allowable overdepth (32,300 cubic yards); Burton's Bay Channel to a depth of 6 feet MLLW (NOS) with one foot of allowable overdepth (66,400 cubic yards); and Chincoteague Inlet Inner Channel to a depth of 10 feet MLLW (NOS) with one foot of allowable overdepth (14,000 cubic yards). The estimated quantities include accretion to May 1998. The contractor shall place the dredged material in the Government-furnished placement sites indicated for each respective dredging area. Magnitude of project is estimated between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Duration of the project is 120 calendar days. This procurement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. SIC Code 1629 applies.
