The Kansas National Guard is soliciting proposals for a multiple award, multiple year task order type contract for maintenance, repair and construction services. Multiple awards shall be made. Contractors will be allowed to select award consideration for the following locations: McConnell AFB, KS (U.S. Air Force and National Guard work); Forbes Field, Topeka, KS, Fort Riley and Fort Leavenworth, KS (National Guard work only) and Smoky Hill Weapons Range, Salina, KS. Task orders will be awarded to awarded TOC contractors based on the low competitive price or a combination of price and other factors (best value judgment)in accordance with FAR Subpart 16.505. A contractor must be able to respond within a 60 minute response time in response to emergency requirements. The contract will remain in effect for a period of five (5) years from date of award. Task orders shall not exceed a cumulative amount of $20 million to any one contractor; and a individual task order shall not exceed $1 million. Source selection procedures shall be in accordance with DFARS 215.605 shall be utilized to select contractors for the basic contract. It is anticipated the solicitation will be available for distribution on or about 23 March 1998. No telephone request will be accepted.
