The project shall include the cleanroom enclosure, hardware, filtration system, and lighting. The following specifications are required: cleanroom enclosure will be 15 x 29 1/2 in size with a 5 x 6 gown room, (one wall of the cleanroom shall use an existing wall in B1238A facility); total enclosure shall utilize a 10 tall wall system using 3 thick vinyl coated masonite laminated on both sides of a polystyrene foam core panels, wall panels shall be prefabricated with factory mounted airflow penetrations, doors, and windows, (total white in color); all exposed metal joint panels shall be anodized aluminum; four (4) windows to be incorporated into the design of the wall panels, locations to be provided; a sealed plenum cap shall be included, shall be of steel deck construction; two (2) each entry doors pre-hung in wall panels, doors shall be 22 gauge steel with upper half glass panels; one (1) each double equipment door pre-hung in wall panels, door shall be 22 gauge steel with upper half glass panels, location shall be provided; interior ceiling of enclosure shall be a suspended 8 ceiling, with ceiling tiles included; provide T bar framing for the installation of ceiling tiles, light fixtures, and filtration filters; provide twelve (12) each HEPA fan filtration modules, modules shall be B7801 Integrated Blower HEPA Modules or equivalent; provide ten (10) each sealed 4-tube fluorescent 2 x 4 light fixtures; provide pre-wired duplex outlets, seven (7) each within cleanroom and gown room; provide pre-wired light switches, two (2) total within cleanroom and gown room; provide one (1) magnehelic gauge panel for measuring cleanroom pressurization and filter static pressure; provide complete assembly instructions for on site construction by end user, also provide company contact with telephone number, for reference/questions in case of construction problems; documentation required shall include: approval drawings, electrical schematics, airflow schematics, operation and maintenance manuals, manufacturers owners manual, and as-built drawings. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Provide for the design and fabrication of a Class 1000 cleanroom (1 EA). The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-03. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The SIC code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 3448 and 500 employees, respectively. The quoter shall state in their quotation their size status for this procurement. All qualified responsible business sources maysubmit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to NASA Langley Research Center is required within 60 days ARO. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9. Quotations for the items(s) described above may be mailed or faxed to the identified point of contact by the date/time specified and include, solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative.
