sought for subcontracting opportunities to team with Japanese Master
Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) holders to accomplish USN ship hull
hydroblasting projects from 45,000 sqft to 180,000 sqft. Location: US
Naval Ship Repair Facility, Yokosuka, Japan. General procedure
comtemplated: (1) Water wash U/W hull with 3,000 to 5,000 psi water
within 24 hrs of dry docking; (2) After hull inspection, proceed with
option A or B: (A) Hydroblast and re-coat areas with dead or damaged
coatings, then re-coat entire hull, (B) Hydroblast entire hull to
tightly adhered primer coat and re-coat; (3) For freeboard, hydroblast
to tightly adhered primer coat, or inorganic zinc primer (depending on
