15 -- PREDATOR MEDIUM ALTITUDE ENDURANCE UAV SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS POC Mr. Richard Fraser, (301)757-5901 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a contract to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc., San Diego, CA, for approximately four (4) PREDATOR MEDIUM ALTITUDE ENDURANCE (MAE) UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE (UAV) SYSTEMS consisting of sixteen (16) PREDATOR AIR VEHICLES, Four (4) GROUND CONTROL STATIONS, Sixteen (16) KU SATELLITE AIR DATA TERMINALS, four (4) GROUND DATA TERMINALS, AND sixteen(16) SYNTHETIC APERATURE RADAR SYSTEMS, approximately sixty-four (64) ATTRITION AIR VEHICLES, SPARE AND REPAIR PARTS, SUPPORT EQUIPMENT, and associated techinical data. GA-ASI is the sole designer, developer and supplier of the PREDATOR MAE UAV AIR VEHICLE, and as such, is the only source with the technical expertise and required data to meet the Government's needs.
