Checks all critical components prior to supplying 400 HZ power, monitors all critical operation parameters during operation, unit signals alarm and indicates potential problem if parameters approach critical level during operation, unit shuts down automatically if operation parameters of output characteristics fall outside predetermined safe limits, diagnoses faults by identifying cause and reporting prevailing conditions immediately prior to fault, simplified user interface. Permits monitoring/testing of critical circuits prior to and during operation. Fully automatic diagnostic testing is performed each time the converter is started.
