The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport anticipates acquiring by negotiations, services to provide independent verification and validation, software analysis and audits, software and system test procedures development, computer simulation development, etc. The resulting contract will be an Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity type with Cost Plus Fixed Fee provisions. The period of performance will be five years from the date of contract award. The total estimated level of effort is 254,375 man-hours. Award will be made of the basis of Best Value to the government. The evaluation factors include Technical Approach, Personnel, Past Performance, Management Approach, Facilities and cost. The required Key Personnel and number of personnel required is: System Engineer Level IV (1), Computer Engineer Level IV (3), Computer Engineer Level III (2) and Electrical/Electronics Engineer Level III (3). This is a follow-on effort to contract N66604-94-D-0576 with Structured Technology Corporation. The government reserves the right to make multiple awards if it is determined to be in the best interests of the government. This acquisition is being Set-Aside 100% for Small Business Concerns.
