Some of the minimum required characteristics are as follows: Traffic control posts 34 to 36 inches high, 1 3/4 to 2 inches in diameter. Each post includes a minimum of 5 foot sections of durable, single thread, nylon, self-reeling belts that are a minimum of 1 1/2 inches in width and resists fraying. Each post shall be designed to internally house the full length of the belt. The belt shall be able to be pulled easily and attach to similar post at any length without sagging. The base shall be designed for exceptional stability and to preclude floors from being marred. The belt attachment on each post shall be flexible to allow a minimum of three belts to attach to one post at a time and allow belts to easily slip into any one of the three positions. Posts shall be designed to allow belt to lock into place to eliminate accidental release of the belt. Shall include a sign frame that attaches to the traffic post. The Standard Industry Code (SIC) is 3499. A fixed price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract is contemplated. Solicitation is to be set aside for small business concerns. Period of performance is for one full year from effective date of contract. An option year is available for an additional year. Only written requests will be honored.
