GOVERNMENT REQUEST FOR INFORMATION -- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division, (NAVEODTECHDIV), Indian Head, Maryland is requesting information on commercially available diver-held sonars to aid divers in the detection and reacquisition of "mine-sized" targets. This is part of an analysis of alternatives study. Performance description information is sought in the form of brochures, specification sheets and company points of contact. Also of interest are diver-held sonars currently under development which are planned to become commercially available in the 1999/2000 time frame. Please note the expected availability date on these submissions. Design proposals requiring developmental funding are not of interest at this time. Deadline for submission is 02 April 1998. (0061)
