The project consists of milling and overlaying the parkway from Route 553 to Route 552, and includes asphalt treated base course construction, drainage improvements, other miscellaneous work. Principal items of work and approximate quantities are as follows: Aggregate-topsoil course, 20,000 m2; Hot Asphalt Concrete Pavement, 25,700 metric tons; Hot asphalt treated base course, grading F, 16,500 metric tons; Ashpalt pavement milling, 150 mm depth, 113,800 m2; Underdrain system (french drains), 1,300 m.
