Regrade and pave an existing gravel parking lot to provide a total of
96 additional parking stalls for Hangar I. Construction of the lot will
be done in two phases to accommodate the current parking demand during
construction with each completed phase. Two new catch basins
willprovide adequate drainage for the new parking lot including
approximately 150 feet of new 10" storm line. The POL portion of the
project includes slip-lining the existing 6" steel fuel line with a 4"
high density polyethylene liner approximately 300' long. The HDPE
liner will start from an existing valve pit to pump house N21 and will
include a new concrete transition box. Some contaminated soil
remediation will also be involved. SIC: 1611 Estimated price range is
$100,000 to $500,000. Duration of contract period is approximately 90
days. Plans and Specifications and/or Plan Holders List will be
available approximately 31 March 1998 and must be ordered in writing.
There is a NONREFUNDABLE charge of $25.00 for each solicitation set. To

Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to assist minority, women-owned and
disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working
capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts.
This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier.
The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid,
payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT
provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against
losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending
Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable
financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000. For further
