Bauman, Jr., 301/619-7264 (Site Code DAMD17) Furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, material and supplies necessary to make comupter room renovations in Building 1054, Fort Detrick, Maryland in strict accordance with specifications and drawings. Work includes, but is not limited to the following: DEMOLITION work (i.e., remove floor mounted HVAC Liebert units; remove wall mounted battery packs; remove all fabric partitions and prepare substrate for installation of new wall facing; remove fabric faced wall and supports; remove/relocate recessed fluorescent lighting fixtures; remove recessed HVAC supply/return diffuser; replace all damaged and discolored ceiling tiles and flourescent light prismatic lenses; etc.); new work roof plan consists of, but not limited to, remove HVAC Liebert units and piping, cut back supports to 2" above existing pitch pockets, reseal all penetrations due to HVAC Liebert unit removal, remove portion of existing roofing as necessary to allow penetration of new HVAC piping; reseal/patch all penetrations due to demolition removal finish to match adjacent construction; air handling unit work required; air cooled condensing unit work required; electrical duct heater work required; lighting fixture work (i.e., all electrical work shall be installed in accordance with the latest edition of the NEC); power and lighting demolition/new work involved. Contractor is not responsible for removal or disposal of any asbestos that may be located in or forming a part of paneling, flooring, or ceiling. Reference Invitation for Bid No. DAMD17-98-B-0004 available on or about 16 Mar 98 and opening on or about 15 Apr 98. The SIC code for this requirement is 1542 with the size standard of $17 million in average annual receipts. The estimated cost is between $25,000 and $100,000.
