The purpose of this synopsis is to amend the synopsis which was submitted to the Commerce Business Daily on February 13, 1998, regarding an upcoming procurement for Security Guard Services required by the National Archives. In an effort to get industry comments early in the procurement process, potential offerors (large or small) are invited to attend market research meetings with Government personnel. The meetings will provide an opportunity for potential offerors to discuss their services, alternatives for security guard services, information related to personnel requirements, and any other factors the potential offeror wishes to address. The meetings will be held at Archives II, 8601 Adelphi Road, College Park, MD. The following dates are reserved for the meetings: February 27, 1998; March 4, 11, and 18, 1998. The meetings will be scheduled between 1:00 p.m. through 4:00 p.m. Each potential offeror will be allotted a one-hour time slot. Meetings will be granted on a first come, first served basis.
