C -- ARCHITECT AND ENGINEERING SERVICES SOL USDC-98-01 DUE 032398 POC Mr. Fernandez, 305-536-3051 C -- Pursuant to the Federal Acquisiton Regulation (FAR) Part 36.603, the United States District Court, (USDC) Southern District of Florida, 300 NE First Ave, Room 213, Miami, Fl 33132 is establishing a new office. The USDC may require one or more Architect-Engineering (A-E) firms to provide design services on a variety of renovation/alteration projects at the existing facilities. The scope of the work will include, but not limited to the following (1) provide title "I" services to include: surveys, investigations, studies and cost estimating (2) provide title "II" services to include: Design work leading to a complete design with construction drawings, specifications and detailed cost estimate, and (3) Title "III" services to include: construction management, inspection and testing. All A-E firms must have in-house capability to prepare drawings on AutoCad R-13 or compatible. The USDC prefers submission of drawings on a CD(s) by using this program for review purposes. Preparations and submission ofspecifications are to be done via Corel WP 7.0 (or as specified by the USDC) on a 3.5" disk or CD. All construction disciplines should be included but particularly those in mechanical, electrical, structural enginering and fire safety and/or fire suppression system as it relates to computer rooms. All A-E firms must be located within 100 miles from downtown Miami, Florida. All interested A-E firms, please submit two completed SF 254s and SF 255s not later than March 23, 1998 to the above address.
