Scope of Effort -- The DoNINPO has a requirement for two persons, part time, to provide oversight and design guidance to the Engineering Directorate in order to review and propose designs for future incorporation into the Department of the Navy Headquarters Network (DNHN). These individuals must be extremely familiar with the current and target architectures of the DNHN, and will help to further define the DNHN target architecture during this effort. Deliverables -- The two persons working for DoNINPO under this SOW will provide the following: (a) Attendance to meetings at the request of DoNINPO to discuss the DNHN network architecture; (b) definition of the Navy Headquarters target architecture (design guidelines); (c) Plans for enhancement of the DNHN by establishing an "Enterprise Node" at the Washington Navy Yard, along with infrastructure changes within the rest of the DNHN to accommodate the changing personnel distribution within the National Capital Region; Note: All provided plans and designs will be carried out with emphasis on compliance with Navy wide efforts and standards (such as IT-21).
