The Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, is conducting a worldwide market survey to obtain additional sources to provide the U.S. Army with ground and vehicle mounting assemblies for the Long Range Scout Surveillance System (LRAS3). The ground and vehicle mounting assemblies must be a non-developmental item and must mate with the LRAS3. Vendors must have broad experience in the field of tripods and mounting systems, as well as adequate fabrication and test facilities to warrant pre-production testing and limited procurement of ground and vehicle mounting assemblies. For consideration, each of the above elements must be individually addressed by all respondents. Data, to include prior testing of tripods and mounting systems, must be furnished to support responsiveness to the non-developmental effort. The Government shall provide for pre-production testing and resultant acquisition of the assemblies.
