NASA/GSFC PLANS TO ISSUE A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) FOR THE PURCHASE OF HIGH-QUALITY HYBRID CIRCUIT BOARDS FOR INCORPORATION INTO THE SPACE INFRARED TELESCOPE FACILITY'S (SIRTF's) INFRARED ARRAY CAMERA (IRAC). TWO TYPES OF HYBRID CIRCUIT BOARDS ARE REQUIRED FOR EACH FOCAL PLANE: (1) A DETECTOR CARRIER BOARD, WHICH WILL HOLD 256-BY-256 PIXEL DETECTOR ARRAYS, AND (2) A SET OF THREE MULTI-LAYER FANOUT BOARDS. EACH OF THE THREE MULTI-LAYER FANOUT BOARDS IS DIFFERENT IN THEIR CIRCUIT DESIGN. The due date for receipt of qualifications/capabilities IS NOT extended.
