It is the intent of the CECOM Acquisition Center, Washington operations office to purchase one (1) Meerkat, the lead vehicle of the Chubby Mobile Mine Detection System (MMDS) produced by Dorbyl Ltd of South Africa. The vehicle is being purchased to aid in development of a remote control system for the MMDS. The Meerkat is to be purchased from LNY Sales, Inc. of Manassas, VA in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, other than full and open competition, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency.
