performed under these specifications include the following: a.
Constructing a temporary 2500 ft3/s canal bypass, which includes
cofferdams approximately 600 feet long, and providing sheetpile where
required. b. Constructing a soil-bentonite slurry trench cutoff wall
and dewatering the excavation site. c. Constructing three 260-feet
long, cast-in-place concrete box culverts, 14-feet wide by 12-feet
deep, in Stony Creek, two reinforced concrete transition structures,
and performing related earthwork. d. Removal of temporary cofferdams
and final grading of the Stony Creek Channel. e. Constructing
approximately 100 feet of concrete-lined canal, a floatwell structure,
and performing related earthwork. f. Furnishing and installing an
acoustic flow measurement device in the concrete lined section. -The
work is located approximately 20 miles northeast of Willows, California
in Glenn County. -Award will be made pursuant to the "Small Business
Competitiveness Demonstration Program." Contractors do not have to be
a small business to submit an offer under this program. -- -The price
range of the work is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. -To request a
