Van Winkle, Contract Specialist, (404) 635-5645. To establish a non-personal service contract to provide Vocational Training Classes at the Federal Correctional Institution, Yazoo City, Mississippi. The classes will provide training to the male inmate population enrolled in Vocational Classes to teach industrial sewing machine operation and the repair of industrial sewing machines. Duties will include developing the curriculums for both subject areas, prepare lesson plans, examinations, class rosters and evaluations. Each session is approximately six hours per day, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays, and will not exceed 30 hours per week. The Contractor must have a minimum of two years teaching experience in the specialized fields and a current certification in industrial sewing and sewing machine repair. Only written requests for solicitation packages will be considered. The estimated issuance date for the solicitation is March 16, 1998, with an estimated receipt of bids date of April 15, 1998.
