E-MAIL: Glynda H. Meeks, glynda.meeks@msfc.nasa.gov. NASA/MSFC plans to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a study entitled "Investigation of System Level Analysis Methods and Design Processes." This study is being procured under the University Research Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) Program with the university community within the United States. The purpose of this study is to research system level analysis methods and system level design processes. Research will be at the selected contractor's facility with a period of performance of 8 months. Quotations will be evaluated using best value criteria stipulated in the BOA. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The SIC Code and Size Standard are 8733 and $5M, respectively. The DPAS Rating for this procurment is DOC9. The anticipated release date of RFQ 8-1-8-ED-B8009 is on or about February 19, 1998 with an anticipated quote due date of on or about February 26, 1998. All qualified responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See Internet Note "B".
