for receipt of bids is on or about April 6, 1998 at 2:00 pm. Contractor
shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation,
supervision and disposal necessary to perform roof inspections and
maintenance including locating/repairing roof leaks, removing/replacing
damaged roofing materials, repairing and/or providing new sheetmetal
flashing, gutters and downspouts, and performing emergency roof
repairs. Work will be performed on the following types of roofs:
Built-up roof, gravel surfaced; Built-up roof, smooth surface; Slate
roof; Modified Bitumen roof, smooth surface; Single-ply neoprene roof,
ballasted; Single-ply EPDM roof, ballasted; Single-ply PVC roof, fully
adhered; Single-ply PVC roof, ballasted; Metal roof, copper; Metal
roof, galvanized; and, asphalt and fiberglass shingles. Work is located
at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, New London, CT (New London County). It
is anticipated that an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract
will be awarded with an estimated price range of $250,000 to $500,000
(inclusive of option periods). This project will be for a period of one
year from date of award, with 2 one (1) year option periods. SIC code

Ave., New London, Ct. this site visit is not mandatory but highly
recommended as this is the only organized walk-thru that will be
scheduled. This project is issued pursuant to the Small Business
Competitiveness Demonstration Program, and is unrestricted. THE
