A -- CONSTELLATION-X ARCHITECTURE STUDY COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT NOTICE Goddard Space Flight Center intends to release a Cooperative Agreement Notice (CAN) on or about March 13, 1998, for mission architecture concept studies for the purpose of developing innovative concepts for the Constellation X-ray Mission architecture. Constellation-X supports the NASA's Structure and Evolution of the Universe Program, and is a Next Generation X-ray Observatory dedicated to observations at high spectral resolution. NASA/GSFC intends to award two Cooperative Agreements, and will fund each Agreement up to $110,000. Successful offerors shall establish mission development teams to participate in defining the mission architecture for Constellation-X, and shall contribute at least 50% of the total resources required to accomplish the Cooperative Agreement. The Cooperative Agreements will have a 90-day period of performance. A pre-solicitation conference will be held at NASA/GSFC on March 4, 1998, in Building 26, Room 205, at 1:30 P.M., EST.
