This Job Order Contract is for a broad range of maintenance, repair and minor construction work or real property for the Military District of Washington which for this project consists of the following: MDW (North) made up of Ft. McNair, Ft. Myer, and Arlington National Cemetery; MDW (South) made up of Ft. Belvoir, Davison Airfield, Ft. A.P. Hill, and satellite facilities located at Leiber, Culpeper, and Jones Point Reserve Centers; MDW (Other) made up of Ft. Meade (NSA), AJCC, Ft. Ritchie; and Other then MDW Installations within the National Capital region. Contract type is an Indefinite Quantity Type Contract and will list a variety of individual construction tasks. After award individual delivery orders will be issued to the successful contractor. Contractor will be required to furnish all material, equipment, and personnel necessary to manage and accomplish the work. The contractor is required to maintain a management office on the installation in order to receive work request and provide other engineering management services related to accomplishing the task. Individual delivery orders will vary in size with a majority expected to be small to medium size. The jobs will include task in a variety of trades such as: brick layers, carpenters, carpet layers, cement masons, drywall applicators, electricians, glaziers, ironworkers, laborers, millwrights, mosaic, terrazzo, and tile workers, painters/drywall finishers, plumbers, power equipment operators, resilient floor layers, roofers, sheet metal workers, sprinkler fitters, truck drivers, steam fitters, and refrigerations and air conditioning mechanics. The base contract period will be for 15 months with two (2) twelve (12) month option years. The estimated contract amount for the 15 month base contract period plus two (2) option years is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. Specs $80.00 per set; Non-refundable.
