Y -- ELECTRICAL LOAD COORDINATION STUDY SOL IFB 618-102-98 DUE 032498 POC Mavis Nelson 612-725-2189 Provide all labor, material and equipment to perform an Electrical Coordination Study at VA Medical Center, Minneapolis, MN 55417: ITEM 1 -- Switchgear and Switch Board Testing and all testing of all unit substation(s); SUB-ITEMS A -- Transformer Testing of liquid-filled transformers 600 volts and above on all unit substations (note that all dry-type transformers to be tested by VAMC personnel, except see ADD ATLERNATE 3) B. -- Circuit Breaker Testing of insulated case, molded case, and power type circuit breaker of all unit substation circuit breakers C. -- Circuit Switch Testing of all circuit switchers in unit substations D. -- Grounding System Testing at all unit substations E. -- Ground-Fault Protection System Testing in all unit substations. ADD ALTERNATE ITEMS: -- ALTERNATE NO. 1 -- Testing of metal-enclosed Busway Between the Main Emergency Distribution Panel (EDP-Cent) ADD ALTERNATE 2 -- Thermal and Corona Testing ADD ALTERNATE 3 -- Testing of all dry-type transformers ADD ALTERNATE 4 -- Medium-Voltage Cable Testing between Energy Center Building #69 and VA Medical Center Building #70; and Load Tap-Changer Testing in unit substations. All work will be in accordance with a stringent Phasing Schedule as provided by VA. SIC CODE is 1731 at $7 million dollars. The magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000.
