S -- WATER PLANT AND DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM; SEWAGE PLANT AND COLLECTION SYSTEM SOL CBD001-8035-0001 POC Contract Specialist Linda Savage (918) 421-3390 (Site Code DAAA31) The McAlester Army Ammunition Plant (MCAAP), located 10 miles west of McAlester, OK, seeks to identify potential potable water utility providers and sewage utility providers that would have an interest in taking ownership of water plant and distribution system; and the sewer plant and the sewage collection system located within the boundaries of the installation (either system or both systems). Ultimately MCAAP is seeking total divestiture of the installation's water plant and distribution system, and the sewage plant operations and sewage collection system to the non-federal sector. The new owner (herein referred to as Service Provider) would assume full responsibility for maintaining the systems so that reliable service can be provided to each MCAAP consumption point on the installation. The service provider would also be responsible for all capital investments to maintain, improve, and extend MCAAP's water distribution system and treatment plant, and sewer plant and the sewage collection system. TheService Provider would purchase the existing system(s) at a fair market price.
