The U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement for publication services (research, compilation, verification, key boarding, editing, and proofing) to produce: (1) a catalog entitled "New Publications of the U.S. Geological" in a monthly, electronic version linked to the USGS home page and in a quarterly paper version without indexes; (2) an annual supplement entitled "Publications of the U.S. Geological Survey, (year)," in an electronic version linked to the USGS home page and in a paper version with subject and author indexes; and (3) an online data base consisting of all reports by USGS authors from 1880 to the present, fully searchable and linked to the USGS home page. IMPORTANT NOTE: The USGS shall not fund the recreation of a database as described above. Anticipated contractual period of performance shall be for one year with four optional years. Requests for Solicitation No. 98HQSS1000 shall be in writing and may be forwarded via regular mail; or, facsimile to (703) 648-7901 (telephone confirmation is recommended).
