Liberatore (contact) Margaret S. Broadwater (CO) 648-7484 17. The U.S.
Geological Survey has a requirement for publication services
(research, compilation, verification, key boarding, editing, and
proofing) to produce: (1) a catalog entitled "New Publications of the
U.S. Geological" in a monthly, electronic version linked to the USGS

publications worldwide are released or become available. The data base

through the current month in which an order is placed under the
proposed contract, necessary to produce items (1) through (3) above.
Most Catalogs, in addition to listings of U.S. Geological Survey
reports, must include additional comprehensive listings of about 1,500

(journals/books) published annually in various publications throughout
the world, including abstracts of symposiums, meetings, and
proceedings. IMPORTANT NOTE: The USGS shall not fund the recreation of
a database as described above. All interested contractors must possess
access to the full required database of more than 100,000 USGS
publications with index, and growing at about 5,000 publications
annually. Anticipated contractual period of performance shall be for
one year with four optional years. Requests for Solicitation No.
