Blue Grass Army Depot, Richmond, KY is seeking written expressions of interest in the assumption of ownership, operation, maintenance, and repair of utility systems including electrical, water storage, treatment, and distribution, and sanitary waste water collection and treatment. Interested sources should have the capital, resources and background/experience to own, maintain, and operate one or more of these systems. No formal acquisition/contracting actions are immediately forthcoming. This determination of interest is one component required to complete a systematic evaluation of these utility systems for potential privatization under the Department of Army's Utilities Privatization Program. Interested sources should provide a written statement of interest on company letterhead (not to exceed four pages in length), along with a general statement of their capabilities and experience in the ownership, operation, and maintenance of similar systems and their familiarity with compliance procedures and regulations of the Kentucky Public Services Commision, Kentucky Department of Natural Resources, and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region IV.
