This is a market survey to locate additional or alternate sources for procurement of the AN/PRC-112, Radio Set, NSN: 5820-01-279-5450, Part Number 01-P21261J001. The current source for this equipment is Motorola, Inc., Scottsdale, AZ. Complete detailed technical data for the manufacture and acceptance of this equipment is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing alternate equipment must so indicate in writing to Commander, US Army CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-A-MM(Echeverria), Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5008. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier is a vendor to the current source, or a statement from the current source demonstrating that the supplier can in fact supply items that will be physically and functionally interchangeable at the repair parts level with units that the current source supplies for this NSN. Successful suppliers may be required to warrant that the items supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. Only units that have satisfactorily completed testing for this application will be procured. Suppliers of alternate equipments can have their products tested for use in this application at the supplier's cost.
