H -- ANNUAL INSPECTION AND CERTIFICATION OF UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANKS SOL N62472-98-Q-6306 POC Allison D. Tibbetts, Purchasing Agent, (207) 259-8242 It is the declared and acknowledged intention and meaning of this solicitation to inspect, test, repair and maintain 21 underground fuel oil storage tank automated and electronic leak detection system at various locations at the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station Cutler, Maine. The work will be performed by means of a a firm fixed price/indefinite quantity, option year contract. The government will award a contract to the responsible quoter whose quote is the most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. Factors other than price include: QUALIFICATIONS: Certified State of Maine tank installer/manufacturer, knowledgeable in leak detection monitors, qualified for annual underground tank testing, and specific ability to respond to service calls within the required 24 hour period. PAST PERFORMANCE: Proven expertise, reliability and responsiveness, and experience in dealing with similar systems. The contractor will be required to submit a narrative of how their price and the consideration of all other factors shall benefit the government. A meeting to discuss the terms of this solicitation and a walk through will be held on 24 FEB 98 at 10:00 a.m. at NCTS Cutler in Bldg. 507. Solicitation packages will be available after that date.
