B -- ANALYTICAL SERVICES -- POTENTIAL SOURCES SOUGHT DUE 022898 POC Ellen Hansmann (513)648-3703 Fluor Daniel Fernald (FDF) Prime Contractor for the United States Department of Energy's (DOE's) Fernald Environmental Mangement Project (FEMP), Fernald, Hamilton/Butler County, Ohio, seeks QUALIFIED commercial analytical laboratories to provide analytical services in support of remediation activities. A variety of analyses are required including SW-846 Methodologies, CLP Methodologies, and Radiochemical analyses for soils, sludges, surface waters, ground waters, and biota. Laboratories interested in this work must meet the following minimum requirements of:1) The laboratory must have an NRC Licence or State Equivalent; 2) The laboratory must have performed SW-846 Methodologies, CLP Methodologies, and/or Radiochemical analyses within the last 6 months; 3) The laboratory must have a QA Manual and program; 4) The laboratory must have a Laboratory Information System (LIMS) capable of performing sample log-in, sample tracking, and reporting; 5) The laboratory must participate in the WS, WP, EML-QAP, and the MAPEP performance evaluation programs; 6) The laboratory must have DOT trained and qualified personnel to handle sample shipments; and 7) The laboratory must have a Waste Management program. Laboratories interested in this work should submit a listing of the services they are willing to provide along with documentation demonstrating that the above requirements can be met. This announcement is an advanced notification to determine interest in proposed request for proposal as well as assist in establishing a qualified offerors list.
