Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has an ongoing requirement to
provide Elevator Maintenance and Repair Services for twenty (20)
elevators at the Waterside Mall complex, 401 M St, SW, Washington, DC.
As part of the services provided under this contract, the contractor
shall perform all maintenance and repairs necessary to prevent a
breakdown of a system or piece of equipment. The contractor shall also
be responsible for repairing broken systems or pieces of equipment.
The contractor must be knowledgeable about hydraulic and traction
elevator maintenance. The contractor shall perform daily routine
inspections, performance evaluations, adjustments, repairs, cleaning
and lubrication as frequently as needed to maintain performance of all
components and systems. The contractor shall establish a Quality
Control Program to assure the requirements of the contract are met. The
contractor shall provide Emergency Service Call response. The agency
will require a Bid Bond and Performance Bond. The contractor shall be
regularly engaged in the business of elevator maintenance, repair and
