FISC San Diego is announcing its intent to issue a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies in accordance with the FAR part 6.302 as supplemented with information in this notice. This procurement is unrestricted and all responsible sources may submit an offer. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation; quotes are being requested and a SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number is N00244-98-Q-0115. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquistion Circular 90-46 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-11. The Standard Industrial code for the first item is 3631 with a business sized standard of 750 employees. The other Standard Industrial code is 5064 and the business size standard is 100 employees. Line 0001 is for eighty-five (85) each 30" natural gas stoves. The stoves shall have a decorative background, intermittent ignition devices, and legs for leveling. The stoves must also have oven lights and oven door windows with no clocks. The color of the is white. Item 0002 is for one hundred thirty (130) each under the counter electric dishwashers. The dishwashers must have the following characteristics: non-metalic polypropylene tubs, boost heaters, and attached drain cap as an accessory. The units shall also have legs for leveling. The approximate size shall be no larger than 24" W x 24" D x 35 3/4" H. The color must be white. The price quoted must be FOB Dest to San Diego CA. Acceptance shall be made at destination. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items applies. Addendum to FAR 52.212-1, Paragraph (b)(5): Offerors shall provide an express warranty which at a minimum shall be the same warranty terms, including offers of extended warranties, offered to the general public. Express warranties shall be included in the contract. Offerors are requried to complete and include a copy of the following provisions with their proposals: FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representationand Certifications -- Commercial Items.
