Solicitation Notice: The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is seeking bidders for the Contractor to provide the necessary personnel, facilities, materials & equipment required for a site characterization study for four (4) buildings (Bldg. 114, 310, 320 & 400) at the Bluemont, VA location, with former underground fuel tank locations. The study must be hard copy and electronically completed and submitted to the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality and a copy provided to FEMA. Three site characterization reports are required to describe the hydrogeology of the site, assess potential levels of petroleum contamination within the soil and groundwater, delineate the area of contamination, and assess the risk associated with this contamination. Soil borings and required test will be performed. A firm fixed price purchase order is anticipated to be awarded. Prospective contractors are required to possess a Virginia Contractors License to submit a bid in response to thesolicitation. A prequote conference and site visit will be scheduled, specific date and time to be identified in the solicitation.
