Murtagh The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst requires repair services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with the Metrics Systems Corporation, 645 Anchors Street, Ft. Walton, FL 32548-9990. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, this firm is considered the only supplier of these services because they are the sole designer and manufacturer of the Common Rack and Launcher Test Set (CRALTS) already purchased by the Government. The CRALTS is a universal GO/NO-GO tester for various bomb racks and missile launchers. The proposed Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for these repair services shall be for an interim support period of three (3) years. All repairs will be done using original manufactured replacement parts. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within 30 days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. (0027)
