SOL GS11P98YXC0060 DUE 031698 POC POC, Kathy White, (301) 436-6000, Ext. 117 The Woodrow Wilson Center for Scholars (WWC)will be consolidating from (2)two current locations into their new facility at the Ronald Reagan Building, 1300 Pennsylvania Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. The contractor will furnish all manpower, transportation and moving related services for the location of a total 4,416 linear feet of Library spaces of which 2,808 linear feet is located in the Smithsonian Castle at 1000 Jefferson Drive, NW., Washington, D.C., and 1,608 linear feet is located in the Aerospace Building at 901 D Street, S.W., Washington, D.C. All library excess property will be moved by a separate contractor. The moves of the library material will occur in phases at scheduled specifed times given by WWC. The move is currently scheduled to begin in the middle of June 1998. The pre-bid conference, property inspection and walk- through will be conducted on Thursday, February 26, 1998. Prospective bidders interested in attending must submit to this office the name of representatives by the close of business Wednesday, February 3, 1998. Bidders that fail to participate in the walk-through or inspection of the property to be relocated will not be considered for an award. This procurement is 100% total Small-Business Set-aside.
