This solicitation will be to obtain Remote Sensing specialists for on-site support, vegetation mapping projects, and vegetation map update projects within Region 5 -- across national forests and private lands using state-of-the-art Remote Sensing techniques. The maximum duration of this contract will be one base year with 2 one-year option periods. The minimum and maximum amount of this contract shall be obligated to order the maximum amount of work. This solicitation will contain three Work Items: Item 1 for Remote Sensing specialists for on-site support, Item 2 for vegetation mapping projects, Item 3 for vegetation map update projects. Firms may submit proposals for one or all of the above Work Items. The contractor will be required to demonstrate a certain level of expertise and capability. Offerors shall be required furnish a complete technical and price proposal for each Work Item. Basis of award will be greatest overall value to the Government, price and other factors considered. The Government may award one or more contracts to qualified offerors. In order to qualify for award of Work Items 1 or 2, the contractor is required to maintain an office within the State of California or Reno, Nevada firms may partner or joint venture to meet this requirement. A geographic limitation is not required for Work Item 3.
