Coastal Systems Station is seeking sources for currently available or
readily adaptable fuzing systems for incorporation to an explosive
Linear Demolition Charge System that is deployed into shallow water
conditions. Operational preference is on a safe fuzing system that
senses or utilizes the water environment for activation. The end
product (an available fuzing system or a readily adaptable fuzing
system) must be capable of complying with U.S. Navy safety guidelines
and requirements. Firms which have developed hardware capable of
meeting these requirements are requested to submit in writing adequate
product descriptions (technical specifications, operational
characteristics, description of safety features, identification if
previously qualified for military use. Also, drawings of the product
are highly desirable. Responses are desired within 30 days of
