This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation number N00164-98-Q-0078 applies and is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-01 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-12. The standard industrial code is 7378 and the business size standard is $18.0 million. This requirement is for a firm fixed price contract for as follows. Line item 0001: Description: Microsoft Premier Support Services Agreement, including 24 hour, 7 days per week technical support for 150 separate incidents during a 1 year period. Provides software maintenance/support for all software licensed by Microsoft to NAVSURFWARCENDIV CRANE. Allows access to a dedicated technical support team for 5 ID numbers. QTY 1 EACH. Period of Performance, 1 calendar year from date of issuance of contract. Delivery is F.O.B. Destination NAVSURFWARCENDIV CRANE. A fixed price purchase order will be awarded based on Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). In SAP, the Total Small Business Set-aside is hereby dissolved per FAR 13.106-2, therefore this procurement is not reserved for small business, see *Numbered Note 22.
