Notice of intention to issue a noncompetitive order to Accubeat, LTD, Jerusalem, Israel for five modified 5 MHz fully militarized rubidium standards (Rb std) in conjunction with the DOD sponsored foreign comparative testing program. Completion of the test program will determine the suitability of the vendor as a potential source of rubidium standards for use in USAF milstar satellite terminals in fixed ground, ground transportable and airborne applications. The Rb std must provide a 5 MHz square wave output, serve as a form, fit, function replacement for an existing discontinued Rb std and meet the requirements of the Rb std specification control drawing (SCD) 218-0057. Delivery is required no later than six months after receipt of order. Authority to procure is 10 (USC) 2304 (c)(1), only one responsible source. Despite the government's intention to issue the order to Accubeat, LTD, if your firm believes it can meet the criteria specified above, submit a qualification package to ESC/MCK, 50 Griffiss street, Hanscom AFB, MA 01731-1620, attn: Mr. Peter Lewis no later than 10 calendar days after publication of this synopsis.
