This work includes all labor, supplies, management, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to provide Custodial services at the Naval Research Laboratory, Washington, DC in accordance with this specification. Custodial service applies to all designated spaces including, but not limited to; halls, restrooms, offices, work areas, entrance ways, lobbies, storage areas, elevators and stairways. The work will be performed during regular Government working hours from 0700 to 1600 Mondays through Fridays except (1) Federal Holidays and (b) other days specifically designated by the Contracting Officer. A firm fixed price type contract is anticipated with a base year and four one-year options. The Standard Industrial Code is 7349. The related Small Business Size Standard is $12 million. This requirement is set-aside 100% for competitive 8(a) firms (FAR 19.805-1(a) in the Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia areas only. It is required that a 5-year Facility Clearance of personnel be in place at the time of award as work will be performed in secured areas having access to SECRET information.
