The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP), Subsistence Prime Vendor Program is interested in your comments regarding a Prime Vendor, who will supply warehouse and deliver semiperishable and perishable items such as groceries, frozen food products, beverages, dairy products, bakery products, boxed meats, primal and subprimal cuts and further processed meat, seafood, and eggs direct delivery to final receipt points (dining Facilities) located throughtout South Korea. The Government will make available to the contractor a storage facility/facilities at one or more locations in South Korea. The contractor will operate this/these facilities in support of the contract. Due to the requirement to supply us domestic product and to provide multiple weekly deliveries to final receipt points, there is the expectation of a partnering relationship between U.S. and a South Korean Company. The contract term will be 12 months, total estimated First Year $31 million dollars with four (4) one year options. The Government is particularly interested in determining if there is an experienced food distributor located within South Korea, or partnering arrangements that may be utilized in support of this contract. Written comments, e-mail suggestions and ideas regarding the Korea Prime Vendor Pacific project, that contain proprietary information, will be treated as confidential, and for Government use only. Your comments are welcomed regarding DSCP's effort to expand the Prime Vendor Program to the South Korea area. One important element of the Pacific Prime Vendor Program will be the bidders' ability to meet go to war requirements (surge).
