Z -- DEMOLITION OF VARIOUS BUILDINGS SOL N62472-98-B-4722 DUE 031998 POC Alvaretta Fortuna, Contract Specialist, (207) 921-2665 The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, supplies and equipment necessary to demolish various buildings at Naval Air Station, Brunswick, Maine as noted on site plans, reference drawings and on enclosed photo sheets. Remove all asbestos material as listed on Asbestos report. Sites shall be filled, graded, add top soil and seed as noted on site plans. The estimated cost range is between $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00. This solicitation will be issued as unrestricted and subject to the evaluation criteria contained in DFAR 252.219-7008, NOTICE OF EVALUATION PREFERENCES FOR SMALL DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS CONCERNS -- -- CONSTRUCTION ACQUISITIONS -- TEST PROGRAM (APR 1996). Replies to this notice are requested for SIC Code 1795, Wrecking and Demolition Work. Bids received from all responsible sources shall be considered. Bidders/Offerors interested in obtaining plans and specifications for this project must submit their request along with payment in one of the following forms: VISA Credit Card, Bank Draft, Cashier's Check, or Money Order in the amount of $94.89. Each check must be made payable to the U.S. Treasury and annotated with the applicable solicitation number. Two sets of plans and specifications will be sent via First Class U. S. Mail upon availability, to those contractors who have tendered payment. If a contract number is not annotated as required or your check is not made payable to the U. S. Treasury, your check will be returned unprocessed. NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED. NO PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS WILL BE ISSUED UNTIL PROPER PAYMENT HAS BEEN RECEIVED.
