SOL DAMD17-98-R-0005 DUE 040398 POC Contract Specialist Richard Dutrow 301-619-2693 (Site Code DAMD17) The United States Army Center for Environmental Health Research (USACEHR) has a requirement for Histopathological assessment of non-mammalian species. The specimens may consist of prepared histopsthology slides which must be examined or they may be whole fish, fish organs or other amphibians from which histopathology slides must first be prepared. Preparation of the slides may involve specialized stains as appropriate. All studies shall be conducted in compliance with EPA or FDA Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) regulations. The contractor shall provide diagnostic summary reports to the Government. Electron microscopy and photomicroscopy shall be provided as required. Pathology consultation shall be made available by the contractor within 4 hours of notification. A report on the results of the histopathological assessment shall be delivered to the Government within 40 working days after receiving the last specimen to be included in the report. The SIC code for this action is 8734, size standard is $3.5 million. This action is not a Small Business Setaside.
