Public Relations planning and consultation for the Region IV Office of Job Corps. Job Corps has been established to provide educational, vocational, avocational, and support services to youth aged 16-24 in residential and non-residential settings. RFP#98-RIV-JC-001 is to assist Region IV to increase and maintain 100% enrollment of students in Region IV centers. This includes development of a marketing strategy to target the business community to enhance placement and school to work opportuniites for students. RFP # 98-RIV-JC-001 will facilitate comprehensive communication among the Job Corps community and among influencers within the Region. This will include coordination of ongoing outreach promotional activities, maintaining and distributing the Region IV Directory and mailing lists and the production of quarterly newsletters for distribution. RFP #98-RIV-JC-001 will develop and coordinate a public relations plan for the opening of new Region IV Centers and will assist the Regional Office on matters concerning interaction with the press. RFP #98-RIV-JC-001 will be available by written request only on aproximately February 9, 1998. It is anticipated that it will cover the period from July 1, 1998 to June 30, 2000 with three unilateral option years.
