DESC: This is a combined Synopsis/Request for Quote for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is M67385-98-Q-0003 and is issued as a RFQ. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-2, Defense Acquisitions Circular 91-12. This constitutes full and open competition, SIC -- 3663, 750 employees. This is a Firm-Fixed price requirement contract for procurement of a Close Circuit Television System to be Installed on 4th Deck of BLDG #1 MARFORPC Headquarters, Camp H.M. Smith, HI 96861. 0001 System: The CCTV security surveillance system should be enclosed in metal conduit throughout to prevent tampering/compromise and be configured with an uninterruptable power supply. The system should be capable of switching/displaying camera images on a single high resolution color monitor and provide a capability to record video images. 0002 -- Operation: The system will be operated from a designated point. Statement of work is as follows: A. The system must provide surveillance of the entire passageways, the ladder well entrance, elevator entrances, the entrance to the Command Center, and the quater deck/red carpet area. B. The ladder well and the allhands elevator entrances should be configured with electronic annunciation and voice capability. C. The doors and elevators will require configuration of magnetic switches to allow electronic unlocking. D. Cameras must be high resolution color cameras capable of pan/tilt and zoom. 0003 -- Quotation must include at a minimum a 1 year on site warranty maintenance/service agreements, and service documentation training should be provided should we opt for government public works to conduct maintenance after warranty. 0004 -- Installation is required. 0005 -- User training is required, along with associated manuals and user defined preventative maintenance responsibilities. FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items, apply to this solicitation and are hereby incorporated by reference. Solicitation shall be evaluated by scale totaling 100% with technical capability evaluated at 15%, past performance 10%, total price 75%.
